#24 Va - The Air Element
Kolkata - 13th September 2025
Va – Vayu, is not to be understood as just air or atmosphere, Va is pattern in motion, the carrier of information in its most delicate form. Just as sound rides on air, thought rides on this subtle flow. Without Va, there is no bridge between fire and mind, no continuity of pattern across the turbulence of time.
Hanuman, Pavan Putra — son of the Wind. To speak of Va is to speak of him. He is the embodiment of the air element: subtle, swift, unstoppable. He shows us that what is invisible can be more powerful than what is seen. In him, Va becomes living proof that subtlety is never weakness. It is coherence, the gathering of scattered force into purposeful action.
Every instant, the world divides into infinite futures. A butterfly turns its wings in Mexico and the skies shift in Bengal. The air carries this impossibility of prediction, the irreversibility of reality. Once molecules scatter, once the wind swirls into turbulence, there is no return. Like time itself, Va moves only forward.
And yet, in this seeming chaos, coherence arises. Amidst random collisions, molecules fall into rhythm: a gust, a cyclone, a breath. From disorder, unity takes form. From infinite probabilities, one path becomes actual. This is the mystery of Va: the improbable made inevitable, the subtle carried forward in invisible current.
What was once rigid and bound becomes invisible, scent and smoke rising into the night. Nothing is wasted. Everything is transformed, encoded into subtle form, Ya.
Va is the air element, the subtle flow.
It is thought, information, pattern.
It is the leap of Hanuman, son of the Wind.
It is matter returning as memory, complexity dissolving into coherence.
It is time manifested, carrying everything forward.
